About Me
I’m Isabelle, the maker behind Issi O Jewellery
I create jewellery built from the people who shape your world.
Each piece is more than something to wear, it’s a connection, a moment in time, a quiet reminder of those who stay with us.
My journey with jewellery began at the Birmingham School of Jewellery and Manchester Metropolitan University, where I developed my skills in craftsmanship and design.
After my studies, I spent four years living in Sydney, an experience that shaped both my perspective and my work. Being on the other side of the world from my loved ones made me think deeply about connection. How distance doesn’t diminish love. How the people who shape us remain part of our lives, wherever we are.
That idea continues to sit at the heart of everything I make.
While in Australia, I was drawn to Aboriginal art, an ancient form of storytelling through pattern and repetition. Later, I found a strong connection to the work of Yayoi Kusama, whose use of dots reflects infinity, repetition, and the universe.
These influences come together in my jewellery through my signature orbs.
Each tiny orb represents a person, a presence in your life.
Grouped together, they form an orbit: a quiet, personal reflection of your relationships.
No two are ever the same, just like the people they represent.
Jewellery has always felt deeply personal to me.
I’m drawn to the way a piece can hold memory, mark connection, and become part of someone’s life over time. That’s why each design is made with intention, using traditional techniques and carefully chosen materials to create something lasting.
I work from my studio in Birmingham, creating jewellery that’s made to be worn every day, treasured over time, and passed on.
If you’re looking for something that reflects your world, I’d love to create something with you.

Questions You Might Have
What does “Who orbits your world?” mean?
It’s a reflection of the people who shape your life, past and present.
In my work, each orb represents a person.
Together, they form a personal orbit: a quiet map of your relationships.
No two orbs are ever the same, just like the people they represent.
Do you make custom commissions?
Yes, this is at the heart of what I do.
I work closely with you to create one-of-a-kind pieces that reflect your relationships, milestones, and memories. From wedding rings to deeply personal pieces, each commission begins with your story.
Can I bring my own gold to be reused?
Absolutely.
Remodelling and recycling gold is something I care about deeply.
I can transform inherited or unworn jewellery into a new design, preserving its meaning while giving it a fresh form.
Where are you based?
I work from my studio in Birmingham, UK.
I take on commissions across the UK and offer a small collection of one-of-a-kind pieces available to purchase online.
